You can find a number of used cars for sale in Conover that cater to enthusiasts, but few are as fun to drive as the ones from Dodge. Of course, used Dodge models can also win over drivers with premium features for comfort and convenience. The brand’s innovative driver-assistance measures are a prime example. They’re meticulously engineered to help keep you out of harm’s way by harnessing the power of modern technology. Dodge can deliver when it comes to upscale amenities as well with ear-catching audio systems, high-end connectivity, and impressive luxury cues. (Please note that exact equipment can vary by model and model year.)

  • For street-legal track-capable performance, Dodge partners with performance experts from the likes of Brembo, Bilstein, SRT, and Mopar. As a result, select used Dodge models can sport aggressive braking systems, racing-style suspensions, wide-body kits, and mighty HEMI V8 engines that can supply more than 800 hp.
  • Dodge helps you stay out of harm’s way as you’re having fun thanks to smart safety technologies such as adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assistance, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and more.
  • Used Dodge SUVs and cars can be equipped with award-winning Uconnect infotainment systems that support Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, WiFi compatibility, full-color navigation, voice recognition, and large touchscreens.
  • Dodge’s Performance Pages are available in some of those same infotainment setups so you can keep an eye on vehicle telemetry and set key vehicle functions — like launch control and line lock — through their touchscreens.
  • Custom-look graphics and striping packages can give many used Dodge cars and SUVs bolder styling to go with their bold performance.
  • Take to the fast lane with first-class luxury in used Dodge models showing off Nappa leather heated/ventilated seats, LED lighting, power sunroofs, power heated leather steering wheels, and Alpine and Harman Kardon audio systems.

Dodge has a relatively small lineup of different models, but because they’re available in a wide variety of trim levels and editions, there’s a choice for almost everyone. Village Motors then tries to narrow things down by stocking the used Dodges that we think local drivers will like best. The bottom line: Even if you don’t see a Dodge that meets your demands on our lot, we may still be able to find a model that does. Just let us know how we can help.

  • The Dodge Challenger challenges your perceptions of what a modern-day muscle car can do: Sure, it’s blazing fast, with some models able to conquer the quarter-mile in a mere 10.5 seconds. Yet it’s also surprisingly practical, with the biggest back seat in the segment, a roomy trunk, and available all-wheel drive.
  • The Dodge Charger takes fast moves and real-world functionality to the next level as the brand’s four-door muscle car. Featuring full-size dimensions, the Charger delivers full-throttle thrills with a top speed of 203 mph (in some editions).
  • The Dodge Durango brings the brand’s performance promise to SUV enthusiasts, who will appreciate the fact that this machine doesn’t sacrifice functionality just so it can be fun to drive. Indeed, the Durango SRT can sprint to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and tow up 8,700 lbs. — although not at the same time. The Durango can be configured with two or three rows as well for additional versatility.
  • Older models like the Dodge Journey SUV, Dodge Grand Caravan minivan, Dodge Avenger sedan, and Dodge RAM truck can also deliver significant value for used-car shoppers.

When Horace Elgin and John Francis Dodge first joined the quickly growing auto industry, it was in a supporting role: The Dodge Brothers Company debuted in Detroit in 1900 as a supplier to other automakers, including the Ford Motor Company. The Dodges, however, were eager to shine on their own and launched the Dodge Brothers Motor Company in 1913 to do just that. The company became one of the first early automakers to adopt Ford’s assembly-line process, but Dodge focused on building high-end vehicles instead of the mass-market cars from Ford. Dodge was well on its way to establishing itself as a premier U.S. automaker when tragedy struck.

John died from complications from the Spanish flu in 1920, and Horace passed away at the end of the same year. Their company remained in business, but was purchased by the Chrysler Corporation in 1928. This reignited momentum for the Dodge brand, which at its peak was delivering more than a million vehicles a year. Today, Dodge delivers a streamlined focus on performance with cars and SUVs that enthusiasts love!
